Paralympics 2024 India: India target to make medals history

Paralympics 2024 India is showing blessings to 84 para-athlete players for medals who are participating in France this year.

This year paraathelete is participating across 12 sports-archery, athletics, badminton, canoeing, cycling, Blind Judo, Powerlifting, rowing, shooting, swimming, table tennis and taekwondo. Under atheletics india’s participation is much higher than before.

Till today total 14 times paralympic is being conducted. Total 169 countries are participating in 2024.

Opening ceremony will be conducted at Place de la Concorde which is major public squares in paris. Team India is ready to participate in paralympic. This is first time india is participating in Para Rowing, Para-cycling, blind judo.

Para Rowing team under which players race boat through flat water with their physical, intellectual or visual disabilities.

Para-Badminton player Ravi Rongali, Rohit Kumar is participating in shotput. His journey is a testament to resilience, strength, and the pursuit of greatness.

Sriharsha Devaraddi’s journey from overcoming a life-changing spinal injury to standing on the top of the podium is nothing short of inspiring. He bagged the gold medal in the R4-Mixed 10m Rifle Standing SH2 event at the Para Shooting World Cup and secured his quota for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Kasthuri Rajaman from Tamil Nadu, is making India proud in Para Powerlifting with her remarkable achievements.

Ajabaji Chaudhary is participating in Women’s Javelin from Gujarat is ready to showcase her talent at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in the Women’s Javelin F46 category. Sarita Adhana is winning 4 World Records to clinching gold and bronze at international championships, Sarita’s journey has been nothing short of phenomenal. Now, she’s ready to represent India on the grandest stage of them all—Paris 2024 Paralympics

Sheetala devi is youngest para archer in paralymipics 2024. She belongs from Jammu Kashmir only active female in world who competes without arms in archery. Her medical condition is called phocomella. In Asian para games Sheetala secures gold medal and silver medal.
